An attractive AVP Collateral Risk Analyst job has just become available at a reputable financial services firm based in Singapore. You will be under the direction of the APAC Head of Collateral Risk Management.

About the AVP Collateral Risk Analyst Role:
Your key responsibility is to support transactors and underwriters in requests for credit extensions for clients, and in annual reviews with focus on more complex securitised loan portfolios. This role would be under the risk team with a focus on credit-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide insight on the collateral portfolio through business analytics solutions
• Analyse the client\'s collateral value and credit quality
• Mitigate risks of existing clients portfolio through monitoring, valuations and appraisals.
• Collaborate closely with the first and second line of defence to ensure risk management of clients collateral through risk assessments
• Safeguard collateral documentations and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
• Prepare and provide reports of collateral and security loans to regulators and management
• Ensure all collateral-related activities are compliant with relevant local laws, regulations, and internal policies

To succeed in this AVP Collateral Risk Analyst position, you should have an analytical mindset with Tableau data tool experience, the understanding of collateral to credit risk management is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree
• At least three years relevant experience in financial services (or strategy consulting)
• Experience in business analytics, including being familiar with Tableau
• Knowledge of collateral and exposure to credit risk management is a strong plus
• Good time management skills, thrive under pressure
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
