Division Description
Group Risk Management (GRM) is an independent function responsible for ensuring that risk management practices at OCBC Bank are effective and comprehensive.
GRM builds and drives the Bank\'s businesses through an integrated risk management approach relying on strong risk analytics to support strategic business decision-making and to create a competitive edge for the Group.
This position is in the Group Portfolio Analytics & Reporting (GPAR) department of GRM and will report to the Project/System Team Lead of GPAR.

Key Requirements:

  • Generate, maintain, enhance dashboards and reports that are shared to stakeholders for portfolio risk management, which includes providing meaningful analysis for performance trends.
  • Extract insights from data to facilitate credit risk portfolio management and to conduct review and creation of credit policies, this entails working closely with Consumer Credit Risk & Approval and Consumer Secured Lending teams.
  • Perform regular portfolio risk management due diligence for control of credit risk, such as risk trigger review, stress testing, NPL/SP budgeting, etc.
  • Perform regular model monitoring for Application and Behaviour score models, which includes support in the deployment of Application score model in the Loan Origination System (LOS) and LOS data quality checks pertaining to Application score.
  • Automate and optimize BAU processes that are used in portfolio management, which includes support to data team involving enhancement to data cubes.
Qualifications
The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Degree qualified
  • Good quantitative analytics skills and passionate about working with data.
  • Strong with programming/scripting languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python) to perform data analysis and data manipulation.
  • Keen interest about understanding the portfolios and ability to multi-task and to work independently.
  • Preferably with a minimum of 3 years working experience in credit portfolio risk analytics.
