Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities:

• Work with the platform engineers and enterprise architects to provide a better, optimized enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business need
• Work with project/tribe tech teams to adhere predefined policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise
• Conducting detailed data analysis, data profiling, understanding Banking products and its related data correctly, metadata management, build detailed mappings to cater business requirements
• Act as bridge between the application team and enterprise architect for best possible solution to fulfil business requirements
• Prepare required documents ensuring target solution on the Big data platform that meets all the business requirements, documenting the key pointers of discussions and technical discussions
• BA/DA also involves in detailed data reconciliation and justify the gaps with valid reasons
• Work with Architects to walkthrough the use cases for better solutions, internal and external product teams in finalizing solution to meet the requirements
• Work with Tech leads to get the mappings implemented and address the issues in data quality
• Actively collaborate and contribute to the development of Architecture Roadmaps; help in to define the roadmaps, ensuring the platform alignment of business and IT goals
• Ensure standards and best practices are in place across the platform. Help the extended technology community to internalize and then adhere to these standards and best practices
• Advise during the initial project life cycle by serving as a technical solution SME to help identify and qualify the high level efforts and planning
• Contribute to the repository for solution/application artifacts, development of formalized solution methodologies
• Responsible for the change in delivery and deployment strategy for all applications to a total replacement for applications at the end of their technology or functionality lifecycle
• Maintain and monitor all aspects of the proper running of the platform

Requirements:

• Successful candidate should have experience on functional data analysis and applications analysis, design and development using data from various core banking standard systems like Finacle, Vision Plus, Avaloq, HRMS ...etc
• Detailed understanding on programming/scripting experience in Big DATA Technologies & languages such as Spark, Scala, Standard SQL, Shell Scripting, Hive, Sqoop and Data visualization tools like QV, Tableau
• Proven expertise and experience of analysing, defining and articulating complex problems clearly across strategic, business, systems, process and data areas of work
• Self-starter, Ability to work independently and extremely hands on in the management of projects
• Understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (Airflow, TWS, Kibana, Graphana, Cacti, Logstash etc.)
• Provide technology and deployment guidance to project and platform teams and drive cloud adoption model for platform teams
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, vendors and subject matter experts as required
• Development of architecture and design artifacts for initiatives those cater large business requirements
• Good leadership qualities, taking end to end ownership of the tasks
• Excellent communication to work and manage technical, semi technical and business stakeholders
• Readiness to support as L3 on need basis
• Experience on CI/CD with systems automation tools such as Puppet continuous integration tools such as Active Directory, Jenkins
• Clear understanding on Release, change management or production operational standards
• Hands on knowledge of Linux / Unix / Windows systems
• Experience in working in Agile environment, multi locational distributed teams
