As an Emerging Business Risk Analyst in the Group Wholesale Credit Risk Management team, you'll play a crucial role in identifying and managing credit risks associated with emerging business segments, such as fintech, e-commerce, and digital payments. You'll need to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the bank, including business lines and risk management. Your success will be measured by your ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies that balance business growth with risk mitigation, and establish data alignment, data quality across the region.
What you do
GWCRM-EmB (25%) and Regional (75%)

• Contribute to the Bank of the Future build for digital credit capabilities for Group and Region.
• Support oversight and alignment of Subsidiary CRM-EmB to GWCRM-EmB while considering local regulations and nuance, in areas of:

- Portfolio Analytics
- Reporting Framework and Data Elements
- Reporting Structures / Format
- Credit Risk Monitoring Tools

• Provide guidance and support to the Subsidiary CRM-EmB on the regional business initiatives, e.g. SME Credit Platform, Credit Decision Management System (CDMS) and LUMOS

- Identify the common pitfalls / challenges and good practices and adopt across the Group, where applicable
- Pivot on built / implemented models and scale across the Group, where applicable

• Support the Team Lead, Credit Risk in the rollout of Credit Risk Strategies in LUMOS, CDMS and SME credit platform
• Work closely with stakeholders e.g. RPM to establish new data, data field alignment and data quality.

Qualifications
Who you are

• At least 4 years of working experience in credit portfolio risk management, preferably with regional exposure
• At least 4 years of working experience in supporting the rollouts of IT enhancements, preferably in the area of credit initiation
• At least 2 years of working experience with the use of programming/scripting languages (e.g., SAS, Python) to perform data analysis and manipulation
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detail
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication and effective negotiation skills as the role requires interactions with the senior management and internal business partners
• Adaptive and sensitive to cultural requirements
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
• Willing to take on new challenges and work in a fast-paced environment
