Job Description

Business Function Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions \xe2\x80\x93 whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services. The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer. Key responsibilities

• Support FX product reconciliation process and provide key drivers for the reconciliation differences
• Support in the review of the recon items and the governance documentation for all locations
• Build, enhance and support effective data analysis or data visualization via dashboard (Tableau) to enable insights and facilitate transformation change for product control.
• Drive user requirements and coordinate with the technology teams to develop strategic solutions for product control team. Track progress on the overall development of the solutions on an ongoing basis and manage issue resolution.
• Daily P&L report production and P&L decomposition
• Provide commentary on significant P&L drivers and relating it to the business strategies of the desks
• Monitor New Deals, Late Deals and Market Operations
• Monitor checks for transactions done at Off Market rates and arrive at justifications/reasons for entering these transactions
• Exceptions monitoring on Reported P&L vs Trader Estimates and breaches on threshold limits for unexplained PL attributions

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accountancy or Business or Finance is preferred. Degree in Data Science and Analytics will be considered as well.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics preferably in banking industry
• Experience in creative thinking, problem solving and strategy formulation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player, with good control awareness and inquisitive mindset
