About The Role

Reporting to VP, Group Consolidation and Reporting, you shall drive the group reporting and consolidation process and ensure the statutory reporting standards and SGX compliance are met.

You shall lead a team in finance to consolidate the results of the various entities in the group for financial and management review. This will also include leading and overseeing the accounts of all subsidiary companies within the group, ensuring timely monthly closing and reporting. Also important is to ensure that statutory audits are completed within the timelines and overseeing the corporate governance of the organization. As part of the broader transformation initiative of the organization, you will also play a key role in harmonizing the accounting and reporting processes and be involved as a key project member of a new ERP implementation which is being planned for. You will also act as an important change ambassador for the change efforts of the organization.

You will also play a key role in liaising with internal and external auditors to complete audits throughout the year. Other roles include assisting in the preparation of the annual report on a timely basis and working with Group FP&A to support the budgeting and forecasting process of the Group.

What You Must Have

Technical Competencies

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accountancy (or Finance) with professional qualification (CA, CPA preferred), with at least 8-10 years of working experience
  • Experience working in a Big 4 environment is preferred
  • Hands on experience with consolidation and familiar with SAP or other ERP tools
  • Good working experience and technical knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards as well as statutory legislation including requirements of SGX reporting
  • Has supervisory experience, and is a hands-on and self-driven team player
  • Able to motivate and positively influence the team through a period of change
