About the Department
Balance Sheet Risk Management - Interest Rates is responsible for measuring and managing risk arising from mismatch of liquidity and cash flow profiles of assets and liabilities. Often includes some or all of the liquidity risk management, FX risk management, and interest risk management. Specializes in enhancing policies and procedures for the management of interest rate risk (IRR), and developing risk metrics and limits structures for short and long-term exposure to interest rates in the firm\'s banking book.
Job Responsibilities
You will be part of a team responsible for independent verification of methodologies and statistical studies used in balance sheet risk management across the Bank, including subsidiaries, overseas branches, and agencies. The role holder will develop expertise in balance sheet risk management, interpret important regulations covering liquidity risk and interest rate risk in the banking book (\xe2\x80\x9cIRRBB\xe2\x80\x9d), challenge methodologies behind statistical studies, and assist management and relevant stakeholders in identifying, measuring, and managing emerging risks.
