Division Description
Group Risk Management (GRM) is an independent function responsible for ensuring that risk management practices at OCBC Bank are effective and comprehensive.
GRM builds and drives the Bank\'s businesses through an integrated risk management approach relying on strong risk analytics to support strategic business decision-making and to create a competitive edge for the Group.

Section / Team Description
The Group Data Management Office (GDMO) plans and executes key data initiatives to build long-term data governance and management capabilities that enable OCBC Group to meet its regulatory obligations and digitalization objectives.
As part of its remit, GDMO also serves as the primary governance function to promote the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) in the Group.

Role Summary
As the lead analyst for Responsible AI Governance, the candidate can expect to work with a dynamic team to implement policies and procedures that govern the responsible use of AIDA in the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting enterprise-wide policies that articulate the standards and controls to enable the Group\'s meeting of the FEAT (Fairness, Ethics, Accountability, Transparency) principles, and other prevailing requirements from regulators,
  • Engaging relevant stakeholders in the validation and enforcement of the standards and controls in line with industry best practices,
  • Working with the Lead for Responsible AI Governance in providing reasonable assurance to senior management on the Group\'s compliance with responsible AI principles, taking into consideration the control and business objectives,
  • Providing support for the secretariat of the top-of-house management committee responsible for oversight of the Group\'s compliance with FEAT principles, to ensure that the committee serves its purpose effectively,
  • Being involved in discussions with industry peers and regulators on the responsible use of AIDA through industry-wide forums, with a view of adopting them within the Group.
Qualifications
We are looking for Candidate with experience either in the development of AIDA systems or its governance, preferably in the banking or finance industry.

The ideal Candidate would meet the following requirements:
  • 6-8 years of related working experience. Candidates with experience in model governance and/or its independent validation will be viewed favourably.
  • Good university degree in a STEM discipline, with a strong ability of handling data and performing quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Independent, creative with a pro-active problem-solving mindset.
  • High level of initiative and commitment to work either independently or as part of a team.
