Technology Group
We experiment, design, and lead a 24\xc3\x977 global business where we support core capabilities in asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management. We deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions, and provide insights on new, and emerging technologies.

Business Partner & Solutions
You will help to explore new, and existing technology to support our strategic, and operational business needs across our Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Corporate Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

You will be empowered to be at the top of your game by providing strategic partnership, and innovative technology solutions that supports GIC\xe2\x80\x99s vision of being a tech-driven, global, long-term investment firm.

What will you do as a Platform Engineer?

• You will play a key role in delivering technical solution forming key project deliverables and milestones, which will shape the future of GIC applications performing trades, valuation, compliance, risk management, and reporting, while developing yourself professionally in Financial Industry in the following areas:

• Business analysis skills: You will interact closely with business stakeholders to for requirement gathering, validation and prioritization, which helps you relate your technical solution design and deliverable to concrete business benefits
• Technical skills: As you build a data platform, you will sharpen your skills on database and SQL, while delivering technical solutions on data modelling, event-driven messaging, data publishing and bulk data transformation (with Python)
• Partnership and collaboration: You will work closely with teammates and vendor partners both within and beyond the project team to deliver an integrated technical solution which works end-to-end

What makes you a successful candidate?

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• Experienced in technologies around applications and integration
• Proficient in data modelling, database design and data migration
• Good team player who is keen to learn and able to work independently
• Possesses strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
