Act as a brand custodian for market implementation in compliance with all headquarters guidelines for brand consistency. Provide strategic and tactical support to the markets, guidance and coordination of external agencies to drive branding, acquisition, usage and customer engagement.
Create a centre of excellence for branding, marketing proposition and content in terms of playbooks, tools, guidelines and share of best practices for the region.
Drive platform regional marketing activities, such as advertising, media, brand and product launches, tactical campaigns with alignment to HQ. This includes developing creative idea and concepts that aligns to HQ\'s marketing strategy and goals.
Understand the needs of customers, industry trends, and the strategy and tactics of its competitors across the region; provide analysis and interpretation and formulate appropriate strategies and tactics; target key opportunities and tailor value propositions to establish differentiating plus sustainable advantage.
Work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders (Regional Product & usage HQ team, local marketing teams) to help define and design marketing strategies and communications across the region to ensure alignment of messaging, and success transfer.
Negotiate and work effectively with creative and media agencies as well as other external vendors to ensure quality execution of marketing programmes.
Manage budget used for regional playbooks, campaign master concept and key visuals (KVs).
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, track and optimise allocated regional marketing budget and calendars to measure ROI from key campaigns.
Job requirements
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
At least 5 years of marketing or brand management experience in a financial institution or direct-to-consumer business model environment (e.g. FMCG, online marketplaces).
Good understanding of digital banking, cards and payments - ideally experienced working with the cards team in a bank.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Experienced working with creative and media agencies.
