Job Description
An exciting AVP - Sanctions Advisory job has just become available at one of the reputable financial services firms based in Singapore. You will report to the Head of Sanctions.
About the AVP - Sanctions Advisory Role:
In this role, your key responsibility will be to provide advisory on sanctions-related issues and ensure that it protects the organisation from any legal, regulatory and reputational risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the sanction regulatory changes in the region and support the external development of the legal issues that might potentially cause policy changes
- Ensuring timely reviews of any transaction-related requests and to investigation and review transaction payment for sanctions violations
- Drafting sanctions clauses and deciding on new clients/review existing clients that are cover by the APAC Regional Sanctions team
- Conducting training to fellow internal stakeholders within APAC region
- Reporting of any sanction breaches
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge in regional and global sanctions policy and governance
- Experiences in project management and planning skills
- Meticulous and has an eye for details
- Self-starter and a team player with strong interpersonal skills
