Business Function:Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate \xe2\x80\x93 and elevate \xe2\x80\x93 our brand from the rest of the competition.Job Purpose:DBS Sparks Studio is the dedicated in-house content production hub of DBS Bank, the first bank to hold three World\xe2\x80\x99s Best Bank titles at the same time. As an internal brand studio, providing creative and technical services from events, to livestreaming, to brand storytelling, Sparks Studio is an integral enabler to the bank\xe2\x80\x99s content marketing and social media strategy. Sparks Studio is part of an integrated communications and marketing team designing narratives and driving creative approaches across marketing campaigns. Alongside internal communications, turning DBS\xe2\x80\x99 social media platforms into engaging branding platforms that tell compelling stories is key to be successful in this role.As a core member of the DBS Sparks Studio team, the Content Producer/Videographer will be responsible for producing always-on social & digital content, having a significant impact on the overall DBS brand experience. The Content Producer/Videographer is part of a comms and marketing team designing narratives, joining the ideation, driving the creative approaches and leading the production of videos. The ideal candidate will harness the latest in production trends and technological advancements, including Generative AI and virtual production, to propel our brand narrative forward.   • You will be working closely with Group Strategic Marketing & Communications\xe2\x80\x99 (GSMC) media and content development team, taking briefs on the video assets to be created, providing valuable inputs at the ideation stage, and be in charge of the creative treatment as well as the execution and production of video assets end-to-end.
  • This includes directing and shooting with professional camera and lighting equipment on location or in the studio, along with editing in Adobe Premiere Pro to produce polished, high-quality video assets.
  • Script and produce engaging videos on activation campaigns, company events and outreach initiatives. Conduct interviews and translate DBS story experiences in ways that are interactive, entertaining and educational.
  • Work directly with senior executive stakeholders on certain tasks, where you may be expected to provide production advice based on your expertise, while incorporating suggestions and comments as needed.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to deadlines.
  • Collaborate across Studio\xe2\x80\x99s functions and the rest of GSMC to ensure a unified and strategic approach to content creation, from ideation to execution.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners, including vendors and ecosystem partners.
  • Implement brand guidelines meticulously across all creative outputs, ensuring consistency.
  • Harness data-driven insights to steer creative decisions, optimising content for maximum impact and engagement.
  • Stay up to date with creative video production trends and best practices for social and digital media. You will grow your expertise through on-the-job learning and external training, but also contribute to the overall GSMC team\xe2\x80\x99s learning through sharing your expertise and experience on a regular basis.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in film, television, media production, advertising, marketing or other closely related fields.
5 -7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in digital content creation and video production (filming and editing). * Proven work experience and skills in end-to-end creative video production - from scripting to shooting to editing.
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video production work.
  • Skilful in delivering relatable visual storytelling through videos that engage viewers.
  • Able to work under pressure of tight deadlines - and occasionally at night, on weekends and public holidays, if required.
  • In-depth operational knowledge and intermediate skills with video production equipment (commonly used camera types, mobile devices, light and audio capturing setups).
  • Proficiency in digital video editing and post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Understanding and experience in virtual production and ICVFX (based on Unreal Engine) is a plus.
  • Understanding of the digital publishing process and content lifecycle across social media.
  • Social media native with understanding of audience and content consumption data to support the creative decision-making process.
  • Data-savvy with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to inform and validate production concepts.
