Job Responsibilities



Assists Level 2/3 Support Engineers during problem determination and resolution and be the escalation point of all firewall issue. Evaluate and define the global standard of firewall hardware and software version to standardize the global infrastructure. Manage the firewall vendors to design, architect and operate the firewall infrastructure to provide stable production environment. Coordinate with information security governance team to align IT infrastructure with established standards. Ensures system compliance with all established information security policies Performs technical assessment of any non-well defined or complex firewall change requests prior to implementation. Create firewall reporting by using Algosec in regular base to clean-up the unused objects. Performs regular review, edit and create of firewall Rulebase and recommend necessary optimization actions. Planning and recommending overall improvements in firewall management including the capacity planning to avoid any potential issue. Advanced troubleshooting production problems with RCA and fault diagnosis. Implements changes to firewall infrastructure hardware to enhance functionality Develops processes for improving operational efficiencies, as well as identifies/implements automation tools for existing manual processes. Prepares technical dashboard, reports and instructional manuals as documentation of firewall design and operational requirements. Ready to work in shifts including public holidays

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years firewall operations and/or management role. Hands-on on firewall management role in managing firewall infrastructure of banking critical environment. Certification: CCSA, CCSE, PCNSE and ITIL Foundation (Preferred but not mandatory) Have a solid understanding of Checkpoint Firewalls, Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls technologies. Having strong understanding of the L3 routing on the firewall is preferred, like OSPF and BGP. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communications skills. Ability to work independently or as a team player.
