About the Department

The Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients\' investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a regional securities financing business comprising Credit Repo and TRS books within an approved secured funding credit framework.
• Work closely with Financial Institutions Sales and other stakeholders to develop and grow the secured funding business.
• Assist with optimizing the Bank\'s securities holdings including the management of securities eligible for margining under SIMM UMR and CCPs.
• Work closely with the Liquidity Management Desk to ensure efficient funding of the desk.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop and roll out new structured credit products as market opportunities arise.
• Direct and support legal team on the negotiation of GMRA, GMSLA, ISDA master agreements with counterparties.

Job Requirements

• Minimum a recognized bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field
• 3 - 5 years of relevant front office trading experience preferably in repos or credit
• Good understanding of the risk concepts under the Basel framework and MAS Notices relating to Securities Financing Transactions and credit derivatives
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with various stakeholders
• Strong ability to take ownership of tasks, have keen curiosity, and think independently
