A newly created AVP Syndicate Finance job has just become available at a reputable Japanese bank.

About the AVP Syndicate Finance Role:
The candidate will be responsible for covering relationships with Asian loan investors and coordinating primary, secondary market distribution of loan transactions in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular dialogue with loan investors under coverage to source liquidity, gather market intelligence and identify market trends for the team
• Assist to expand ASFD\'s sales and distribution network by tapping and finding new loan investors
• Work closely with loan originators and other product teams to identify syndication opportunities
• Purchase and trade secondary loans
• Assist in loan portfolio management for branches
• Coordinate distribution of loan transactions

To be successful in this AVP Syndicate Finance role, you will need to have prior experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, and distribution of syndicated loans.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of five to six years of relevant experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, and distribution of syndicated loans
• Has prior product sales and/or relationship management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong relationship network with loan investors and syndication desks in Asia Pacific is advantageous
• A team player with a high level of self motivation
