The Company
Our client is a leading real estate and property development group and as part of their growth plans, they are seeking an AVP Tax to join them in driving strategic tax initiatives across the region and supporting high-impact transactions.
The Role
Reporting to the VP Finance, you will oversee tax compliance and advisory matters across multiple jurisdictions as well as support M&A activities and optimizing tax structures for property investments and developments. You will also work closely with senior leadership and external advisors to ensure tax efficiency and regulatory alignment.

Lead regional tax compliance and advisory functions
Support tax planning and structuring for M&A and real estate transactions
Manage relationships with tax authorities and external consultants
Provide strategic insights on tax risks and opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, legal, and development

Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

At least 10 years of relevant experience, including exposure within a Big 4 tax firm
Strong expertise in both tax compliance and advisory
Regional exposure across Asia; experience in real estate/property development is highly preferred
Proven track record in supporting M&A and investment structuring
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High learning agility and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
