Job Description

Working as part of the Team in Consumer Banking Group ("CBG") Credit Team, the Team Lead will be required to lead a team of 2 members in Quality Assurance and Risk & Control to drive an effective and efficient Risk and Control programme. In addition, the Lead will mentor and provide guidance to develop both technical and soft skill of the team members
Responsibilities

• Reviews and coach 2 team members on the quality of credit collections process for consumer business by designing a robust testing programme.
• Engage stakeholders on deviations discovered during review and collaborate with stakeholders on rectification and follow up on closure of issues.
• Evaluate monitoring of Collections activities based on compliance with collection strategy and regulatory requirements including management of outsourced agents.
• Monitor key performance indicators for Collections team to increase effectiveness in Collections effort.
• Drive the enhancement of the overall risk and controls thru RCSA and BCM by collaborating widely with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks, control deficiencies, and implement time bound resolution plans
• Adherence to the Department's Complaints Management Framework and ensure proper closure to the complaints raised.

Requirements

• The candidate should have at least 5 years of Consumer Banking experience in leading a team and preferably in Collections and Risk & Control
• Minimum Degree holder in banking, finance or relevant.
• Good understanding and knowledge of consumer credit life cycle.
• Good inter-personal, communication & writing skills.
• Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Seek to understand stakeholder's point of view and find win-win solution.
• Motivated and self-driven Team Manager.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
