Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a Global Bank who is well known for their top tier Corporate and Investment Banking services.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the APAC Transaction Report team to ensure efficient and accurate daily exceptions management and reporting processes.
• Enhance the control framework surrounding transaction reporting operations to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Develop and maintain governance documents, including process flows and procedures.
• Provide analytical support to regulatory change projects and bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions.
• Collaborate with local SMEs to coordinate testing support for regulatory change projects.
• Collaborate with Traders, Salespeople, Compliance, and Legal teams to address potential trade issues, violations, and rule interpretations.
• Deliver timely and accurate management information (MI) to Operations & Compliance management.
• Take charge of issue management and reporting, ensuring thorough write-ups and resolutions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders through regular meetings and presentations.

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Banking / related Financial Institutions
• In-depth knowledge of transaction reporting operations, including expertise in MAS and HKMA requirements.
• Ability to interpret and translate regulatory rule changes into actionable requirements.
• Proficiency in OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Equities spaces.
• Experience collaborating with project stakeholders to drive change and implement process improvements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to work with local and remote Operations, Technology, and Compliance teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of VBA being preferred
