Responsibilities
Configure, modify, and maintain security rules across enterprise firewalls including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and FortiGate.
Manage Network Address Translation (NAT) configurations and firewall policy updates
Conduct firewall policy clean-ups to ensure optimal performance and maintain audit compliance
Collaborate with internal teams for change management processes, ensuring changes follow security protocols and organizational standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex firewall and network security issues with a methodical and analytical approach
Exposure to tools such as Algosec, Kibana, Grafana
Exposure to automation scripting using Python and API integrations
Requirement
Minimum 8 years firewall operations and/or management role
Proven hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms: CheckPoint, Palo Alto, and FortiGate, VPN Technologies, DNS, NTP, 2 Factor Authentication technologies.
Strong knowledge of firewall policy management, NAT concepts, and change control procedures
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-availability network environments.
Deep understanding of security best practices, threat mitigation, and compliance frameworks
Certification: CCSA, CCSE, PCNSE, ITIL Foundation preferred
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communications skills
Ability to work independently or as a team player.
