• Roles and Responsibilities:

• The project involves the managed services hosted AWS Cloud infrastructure. Range of applications portfolios must be supported for their plant operations
• It also involves management of infrastructure to improve the service availability and cost effectiveness.
• Participate in delivery of 24/7 service operations and compliance
• Responsible for operational support, front-line management of incidents or escalation points
• Troubleshoot and maintain Infrastructure resources such as EC2 instances, Load-balancers, security group, IAM roles & Policies.
• Resourceful in using and administering IT-monitoring toolsets like CloudWatch, servicenow, cloudtrails etc.
• Install, configuration and patching of systems in a cloud environment including AWS Inspector and Systems Manager. Implementation of industry standard security practices.
• Work on Security tools such as AWS Inspector in virtualized environment.
• Verify and validate user privileges, assigned credentials, trustworthiness, appropriate user security behaviour training, and correctly grant resource access rights to users through AWS IAM. Ensure Zero trust policy fully enforced time to time.
• Good knowledge in understanding AWS design, architecture,
• Risk and mitigation planning.
• Proactively work with Application teams and identify bottlenecks, business gaps during incident management calls. Suggest preventive measures rather corrective actions.
• Create Standard operating procedures for repeatable tasks and maintain CMDB & KB articles on Service-Now tool.
• Process analysis and design, with a focus on identifying technology-driven improvements to core enterprise processes
• Develop recommendations for operating model development for transformation initiatives.
• Able to present and communicate effectively on key findings to peers, management, and other stakeholders to maintain positive and effective relationships
• Interface with applicable vendors and relevant teams on a regular basis to maintain cloud system/environment stability.
• Ensure overall service stability and sustainability.
• Manage Onsite-offshore coordination to ensure flawless completion of tasks.

• Skills /Competencies:
• Essential Skills:
  • At least 3 to 5 yrs experience architecting solution leveraging AWS IaaS/PaaS services,
  • Proven knowledge of leading Cloud Management Platform and orchestration tools
  • Hands on experience in key AWS services - EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, VPC, Elasti-Cache, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53, CloudFront, SNS, IAM, ECS, EKS, EMR Direct-Connect, Service Catalog, Systems Manager, Inspector, Patch Manager, Storage Gateways, ACM, KMS,WAF, guard-duty, secret manager etc.
  • Proven knowledge of evaluating the AWS hosting consumption charges and cost optimization
  • Strong understanding of Linux, Windows Operating system and Knowledge of Linux and windows administration and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of AWS DR configuration and business continuity.
  • Excellent communication - verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adept in any of the scripting languages along with CFT & Terraform
  • Hands-on experience on container technology and orchestration platforms - Dockers, Kubernetes
  • Basic experience in Networking and DNS concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of RDS Databases.
• Preferred skills
  • AWS Certification - Solutions Architect –Associate
  • Patching experience for both windows and Linux servers.
  • Writing lambda functions, CFT, Terraform scripts to automate the admin tasks.
  • Basic knowledge on ITIL and CAB process
• Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge on deployment of AWS infrastructure using CFT or Terraform with CI/CD
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
