AWS Platform Lead

About the Role

Our client, a global technology and engineering group, is seeking an

AWS Platform Lead

to drive the end-to-end onboarding of new AWS accounts and workloads into their AWS Landing Zone environment. This environment is built with AWS Control Tower and aligned with CIS and AWS Foundational Security Best Practices.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce baseline controls (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM Identity Center, CloudTrail, etc.) through Infrastructure as Code. Own and manage the AWS account onboarding process from request intake to production readiness. Validate compliance with CIS and AWS Foundational Security Best Practices before handover. Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related queries. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency gains in onboarding workflows.

Requirements

Experience in enterprise-scale IT operations, cloud service delivery, or project management. Willingness to mentor and share knowledge with team members. AWS certification is highly desirable.
