Job Description
Our client is a leading Real Estate firm currently looking for a data engineer to join their Data team in Singapore.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data retrieval to help develop dashboards and other visualization for achieving business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, different types of data structures, and expertise in the Hadoop and Azure Analytics ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain an enterprise data platform to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Acquire, cleanse, and manage organizational datasets to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop and implement data models and database designs to optimize storage and retrieval efficiency.
- Create and maintain ETL pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory, ensuring data is consistently processed and available for analysis.
- Work with Azure Databricks to perform data transformations, aggregations, and other data engineering tasks.
- Utilize Power BI and other visualization tools to support the development of dashboards and reports.
- Proficiency in SQL, Scala, and Python for data processing and manipulation
- Extensive experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including tools such as HDFS, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.
