Back Shop Repair Technician (loyang) Mon Fri

Job Description
- Operate various precision machining equipment, such as manual lathe, bores, milling machine and EDM in MRO backshop
- Operate welding machine/equipment, such as Miller Syncrowave 351 AC/DC TIG welding machine MRO backshop
- Perform machining dimensional fits & clearance checks per technical manuals
- Perform various bench repair works such as blending, inserts & broken stud replacement.
- Interpret machining dimensions & understand the requirements from technical blueprints
- Inspect work using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
- Assist line supervisors in their daily operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline
- Support and participate in EH&S, Quality, Ethics and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
- Perform various other duties as assigned by Workshop Engineer/Manager
Pre-requisites
- Minimum GCE ‘O’/’N’ level or equivalent with NITEC in Precision/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering
- Aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience is a plus. No relevant may apply.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management
- Possess high level of integrity and accountability with a strong drive toward Quality
- Able to work on weekly rotating shifts
- Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position
Work Location:
- Loyang
Alternate week shift work: 1 week Morning shift: Mon - Fri (7:30am - 4:35pm)
1 week Night shift: Mon - Fri (4:15pm - 1:20am)
Gross Salary: S$2200/month - S$2,400/month
