Job Description
Astek is offering a role of Mid- Senior level Backend Developer with focus on APIC and Datapower.
This role will be involved in API Gateway enhancements and support activities.
- Experience in administration, design, implementation, testing, and support of business solutions based on API Connect (APIC) and DataPower technology.
- Hands on experience in setting up new IBM APIC and Datapower platform environment.
- Experience in patching and upgrading of IBM APIC and DataPower versions.
- Strong knowledge on API management lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience in configuring and creating components of DataPower appliances (Web Service Proxy, Multi protocol Gateway)
- Familiarity with Swagger JSON definitions for API development and publishing.
- Experience in implementing API security (e.g. API keys, Ldap Basic Auth, OAuth).
- REST or SOAP API development.
- SSL implementation, certificate management, and renewal.
- Cloud or container - OpenShift, Kubernetes will be advantageous
