- Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
4 to 8 years of experience in the administration, design, implementation, testing, and support of business solutions based on API Connect (APIC) and DataPower technology.
Experience in setting up new IBM APIC and Datapower platform environment.
Experience in patching and upgrading of IBM APIC and DataPower versions.
Good knowledge of API management lifecycle.
Hands-on expertise in configuring and creating components of DataPower appliances such as Web Service Proxy, Multi protocol Gateway.
Good understanding of Swagger JSON definitions for API development and publishing.
Experience in implementing API security (e.g. API keys, Ldap Basic Auth, OAuth).
Experience in REST and SOAP API development.
Experience in SSL implementation, certificate management, and renewal.
Good to have some experience in Cloud or container technology like OpenShift, Kubernetes.
- Good problem solving, analytical, written, and communication skills.
