We strive to identify issues and deliver solutions that will redefine how commodities are produced and traded.About the role:We are looking for a mid-senior to senior Python software engineer to deliver our vision of a secure marketplace for natural rubber and other software products for the natural rubber supply chain. You will enjoy this role if you like the opportunities and challenges of working in a growing business and building extensible, secure and performant systems using best practices across different devices such as web, mobile and different technologies. You will play a genuinely impactful part that makes a difference to your customers and the industry on our path towards sustainability and traceability. You will collaborate daily with engineering, product and commercial colleagues and help build an effective and creative working culture.Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the codebase, primarily in FastAPI and Django framework.
• Ensure team processes are followed and timelines maintained.
• Grow and guide the team as needed for business direction
• Perform PR reviews when required
• Be up to date with most recent updates to the frameworks used
• Correct bugs and ensure code quality standards are met
• Write unit tests and ensure the test case quality is maintained across code bases.

• Good exposure in software platforms and enterprise solutions
• Proven work experience in software development
• Knowledge of Python and FastAPI framework is a must
• Good to have knowledge of Django framework
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of other programming languages is a bonus
• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related certification is a plus. A strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms, UI/UX and web applications
• A passion for computer programming and a deep curiosity to learn and absorb new technologies quickly
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility
