Consultant (Backend AFC development)




Working in a team, you will be responsible for the development of one or more software component that is part of a backend system. You will be involved in the software development lifecycle from definition of requirements to design and development, and testing.

\xe2\x80\xa2 As part of a team, develops enterprise software solutions that meets client\xe2\x80\x99s needs and perform as designed.

\xe2\x80\xa2 Capable of applying technical best practices to all projects.

\xe2\x80\xa2 Consistently improves skills and knowledge in order to deliver high-quality output and gain increased responsibility.

\xe2\x80\xa2 Communicates professionally with clients and internal staff to identify needs and evaluate solutions.

\xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to explore new technologies, learn new concepts and share ideas with others.

\xe2\x80\xa2 Recognised Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science or a relevant discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in Java/J2EE Application Server platform and UNIX environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in web based applications development (EJB, Servlets, JSP, javascript) and database application interfacing (JDBC, SQL). \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in financial and payment system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in Java Concurrency and Multithreading. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge in PL/SQL and fine tuning. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in RUP, Oracle, DB2, Elixir Report and Crystal Report will be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in handling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to thrive in a team development environment while also being able to work independently. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good understanding of the benefits of the various design patterns and object-oriented programming \xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to travel overseas.
