Job Description

Business Unit WeiXin Group(WXG) is responsible for the construction and operation of the Weixin ecosystem and leveraging Weixin's open platforms such as Official Accounts, Mini Programs, Weixin Pay, WeCom and search function. WXG provides solutions and connectivity for intelligent upgrades across all industries. WXG is also responsible for the development and operation of QQ Mail, WeRead and other products.
What the Role Entails

• Develop microservices and deploy them to global infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication, efficient scaling, and robust security.
• Design, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and consistent delivery of software to production.
• Swiftly identify, troubleshoot, and remediate issues affecting critical service operations, ensuring maximum uptime and minimal disruption to users.
• Proactively participate in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure uniformity in operational tasks.
• Manage high-severity incidents and events with significant customer impact, focusing on rapid detection, analysis, and recovery while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Innovate and develop automated operational tools and systems to minimize manual interventions and streamline processes.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and business teams to align infrastructure and operations with organizational goals and customer needs.

Who We Look For

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Strong coding skills with hands-on experience developing internet backend applications in at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Python.
• Internet experience with knowledge of microservices architecture and CI/CD processes and familiarty with Linux environment with expertise in solving network-related issues
• Prior SRE or backend development experience at a large-scale, consumer-oriented internet product
• Experience with container technology such as Docker or Kubernetes for service deployment and scaling is a plus.
• Experience with service monitoring and triaging via Grafana and Prometheus is a plus.
• Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity demonstrated.
• Passion for eliminating repetitive manual processes using automation for scaling services to millions ofpeople around-the-world.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin to deal with international stakeholders and stakeholders who are based in HQ.
