Global E-Commerce is a content e-commerce business with international short video product as the carrier. It is committed to becoming the first choice for users to discover and purchase good products with affordable prices. Global E-Commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.



The European E-Commerce team focuses on expanding e-commerce businesses in Europe and new markets. The team collaborates with product and operations teams to set key goals, develop independent product functions, and work with global R&D teams to create systems for European businesses. Building from the ground up, the team offers endless opportunities for growth, working on complex systems and fostering cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the technical research and development of various B-side business systems for Global E-Commerce European business, including but not limited to: merchant, product and service provider's growth and development etc. Be responsible for one of the fields/functional modules of the merchant/product/service provider, and complete the business logic abstraction and architecture design of the relevant system according to the business characteristics and industry best practices. Responsible for the stability construction of relevant systems, including but not limited to: global multi-data center scheduling, stability governance, loss prevention and control, disaster recovery downgrade, etc. Focus on business scenarios, pay attention to business data, understand the business and continuously break through the system capacity bottleneck to ensure user experience. Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related discipline. Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in server level system design and performance optimisation in distributed high traffic scenarios is preferred. Have good teamwork and communication skills, and be able to have a good understanding of e-commerce business. Experience in e-commerce and global e-commerce business system development is preferred. Experience in B-side business systems is preferred.
