Software Engineer (Java)
Location: Central
Working Hours: Office hours / Hybrid arrangement
Salary Package: Up to $7,200 + AWS + Variable Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based business applications and system integrations.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and architects to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
• Apply best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and performance standards.
• Deploy and support applications in production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Enhance system performance through optimization and integration improvements.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
• Utilize CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) to support continuous delivery and automation.
• Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring (MVC, Security, Cloud).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (Oracle, MySQL, PL/SQL).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, unit testing (JUnit), and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of cloud (AWS), containerization (Kubernetes), or big data technologies (Kafka, Spark) is a plus.
