Bank Business and System Analyst

Location: Singapore, primarily at client office. Working Hours: Standard business hours (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM).

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

Bank Business and System Analyst

to support upcoming system enhancements across multiple banking domains. The role will focus on analyzing business operations, defining requirements, designing solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders across Singapore, Japan, and APAC regions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both business analysis and system analysis, with proficiency in banking operations and technical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business processes and systems in areas such as FX, Money Market (MM), Derivatives, Bonds,

GIRO, and FAST payments.

Capture and document business requirements as a

Business Analyst

and assess technical feasibility as a

System Analyst

. Create detailed diagrams, flowcharts, and documentation to communicate requirements and system changes to stakeholders. Coordinate with stakeholders in Singapore, Japan, and other APAC regions to ensure alignment and smooth project execution. Manage project tasks, timelines, risks, and communications within your area of responsibility. Support the full project lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, technical development, testing, acceptance, training, documentation, and implementation. Collaborate closely with Project Lead/Owner or Sponsor to drive strategic initiatives in line with organizational objectives. Foster cross-functional teamwork, transparency, and accountability to achieve project goals. Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies to senior management.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years' experience in

business analysis

within banking operations. Minimum of 5 years' experience in

system analysis

, including system design, specification formulation, and technical considerations. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following domains: FX, MM, Derivatives (Interest Rate Swap / Cross Currency Swap), Bonds, FAST/GIRO payments, XB/MEPS payments. Strong skills in creating business flow diagrams and system configuration diagrams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English. Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience across multiple banking domains listed above. Exposure to multinational projects or global teams. * Familiarity with project management methodologies and IT systems in financial institutions.
