Job Description


Reporting to the Banquet Manager, the incumbent will ensure the smooth conduct of shift through customer-focused service delivery. He/she must assist the Centre in servicing the events, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and adherence to consistent service standards.

Scope:

  • Provide and maintain quality food & beverage service during the assigned shift and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Participate in all banquet activities assigned
  • Conduct briefings, lead and supervise part-timers assigned
  • Prepare all required supplies for F&B set-up of a function/event
  • Report any complaints, incidents, or any other irregularities to Management
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Initiate positive guest interaction through seeking and soliciting feedback from guests
  • Perform any other duty as assigned

Requirements:
  • G.C.E. ā€˜Nā€™/'O' Levels and above
  • Previous experience in servicing Banquet events preferred
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and customer oriented with a can-do attitude
  • Fluent in spoken English
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Cheerful and outgoing disposition
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Comfortable with technology, social media, and paperless business processes
  • Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
