Summary / General Assists the Banquet Operations Manager in the daily smooth running of the banquet operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 1. Assists the Banquet Operations Manager in overseeing the daily administration and operations requirements. 2. Attend meetings conducted when necessary in the absence of the Banquet Operations Manager. 3. To handle & manage event deployed by the Banquet Operations Manager. 4. To conduct casual labor training on monthly basis and documented it as O.J.T. 5. Co-ordinates, organizes and plans the forthcoming secured Banquet functions in terms of staffing arrangement, audio/visual equipment, sound system, furniture, linen, guest supplies, set-up to billing. 6. To rectify defects in Function Rooms, public area or equipment with the follow-up of Maintenance Work Order. 7. Checks that the equipment set up are clean and are in good working condition. This also applies to lighting and air-conditioning. 8. Checks signage for entrance of Function Rooms, between guest lifts\xe2\x80\x99 location and hotel lobby. 9. To remedy complaints or negative remarks by guests or organizers with immediate action and by using initiative. 10. Opens bill and presents bill to organizers after functions for settlement. 11. Performs other duties assigned by the Banquet Operations Manager.

Requirement 1. Minimum 1 to 2 years of restaurant / banquet experience is preferred. 2. Good communication and interpersonal skill. 3. Willing to work weekends and public holidays. 4. Motivated, team player and passionate individual with a cheerful disposition. 5. COVID-19 Fully Vaccinated
