Conduct and reconcile the inventory for the bar
Check and oversee the storage, conditions and stock levels at the bar
Ensure bar is always well maintained
Assist the sommelier with the wine inventory and management
Ensure high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the work area
Take guest orders and serve food and beverage to guests according to SOPs
Maintain high standard of personal grooming and hygiene at all times
Perform basic cashiering duties as required
Dispense drinks as per standard recipes and measurements
Check incoming stock in comparison to requisition and assist with reconciliation
Ensure general upkeep of the restaurant and report to superiors as required for follow up
Carry out opening duties for the service preparation and closing duties as required and assigned
Ensure timeliness and punctuality in all tasks
Ensure that food and beverage orders and other guest requests are promptly executed in line with the operating standards
To build excellent rapport with the guests
Be able to recognise our regular patrons and their needs and preferences
Job Requirements
1- 3 years of working experience in a similar role
Excellent customer service skills and friendly
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Well-organised and clean
Keen for opportunities to learn and grow within the organisation
Able to commit to shift work
