Job Description

Daily

Attend daily department briefing before start of duties.

Ensure daily event signage is in order and display accurately.

Be at the lobby all times and ready to assist guest's luggage or inquiries for information, or any assignment from associates when requested.

Assist in answering phone/enquiries at Bell desk in the absence of Supervisors.

Assist guests with luggage to the front desk for registration.

Escorts guests personally with luggage to room swiftly and in a professional manner.

Assist guest to collect and storage of luggage promptly and efficiently.

Departure guest to collect luggage promptly and efficiently.

Deliver faxes, messages/email, packages and other items to guest's room upon request.

Handling the arrival and departure collection of group luggage according to requested time.

Assist guest with short- and long-term luggage storage. To coordinate with Supervisors.

Ensure all display vouchers, maps, visitor information are arranged in a neatly manner.

Arrange transport for departing guests or sightseeing if requested.

Ensure daily newspaper is ordered accurately and accordingly.

Perform any other operation duties assigned by Supervisors and Duty Manager.

Weekly

Ensure the cleanliness of luggage storage room, free of obstruction and overload.

Ensure stock for visitors' information voucher is sufficient.

Checking all equipment, trolley for smooth operation.

To refill storage cards, luggage tags, pens, strings, masking tape and other stationeries.

Monthly

Assist Supervisors in submitting newspaper order report to Finance department.

Assist Supervisors in monitor and requisite visitors' information display voucher from distributors.

Assist Supervisors to check and monitor long term luggage storage.

Assist Supervisors to check and monitor stationeries, luggage tags, long term storage tags, hotel shuttle bus tickets and all other necessary vouchers.

Requisite items if stock is running out.

Yearly

Assist Supervisors in monitoring the condition of hardware equipment.

Ensure Hotel Vision, Mission and Core Value are met and executed accordingly.

Job Requirements:



Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or as a bellman is an advantage but not always required. Basic knowledge of hotel operations and guest services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and packages. Professional and friendly demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction. Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest requests efficiently. Knowledge of local attractions, transportation, and hotel facilities to assist guests. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,400.00 per month
