Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain BI Business Architecture in relation to definitions of data content, understanding data flow between source system and reports
• Share/define best practices and be consultative throughout duration of the project
• Ensuring quality of the content of BI Business Solutions
• Building logical data modelling of BI Business Solutions
• Advise in the use of Business Intelligence, both inside and outside of the BI organization
• Architect, design, build, and maintain solutions to meet global business needs for the data warehouse and data mart environments
• Participate/assist in production cutover and migration
• Works with the other teams/streams and the business to define the architecture and strategy for BI/DW across the business landscape
• Provides technical direction to BI developers, data architects and other application developers to architect, design, and implement solutions
• Partners with developers, data architects to ensure data models can be deployed and maintained efficiently and accessed by consumers of the data effectively
• Provide Technical Lead support
• Work with the team members located in a different location

Job Requirements:

• Over 12 years of IT experience and 8 plus years of Relevant experience in implementing large scale Enterprise DW/BI Application both in the Traditional and BigData space using MicroStrategy.
• Hand on Experience with Big Data Hadoop ecosystem is mandatory
• Good experience preferred in other BI tools like Power BI and Tableau
• Good experience in AWS services
• Exposure to other ETL and CDC tools preferred
• Strong SQL querying skills and strong in RDBMS concepts
• Knowledge in real time reporting tools in big data technologies is a plus
• Experience with traditional & Cloud based data technologies
• Proven success delivering end to end BI Analytic Solutions spanning all aspects of solution delivery, requirements, estimates, designs, approach, dev/build/test, monitoring, transition to production
• Ability to engage business stakeholders to establish, define and maintain solution road maps for legacy systems ensuring they align with strategic and tactical business needs
• Self-starter, ability to embrace and learn new technologies, perform proof of concepts and assessments, agile pilots, leading to full blown delivery and adoption of a production solution
• Independent thinker can make technical decisions without extensive input from others
• Ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work
• Experience in managing complex multi-national and multi country process harmonization projects
