About the team

Embedded within our design teams are members of our Business Development team, who innately understand and anticipate clients\' needs. They represent the client perspective and ensure it comes into play through every stage of the design process, making sure we\'re truly creating places people love.

About the role

The Bid Coordinator an integral part of the Business Support team, responsible for leading the coordination of winning submissions and presentations across the studio, as well as managing marketing collateral and business information (Hassell Intelligence - Salesforce).

The role requires the ability to assist Principals and the Business Development team by managing a deadline-driven workload of submissions, but also to use initiative to manage marketing collateral and business information.

This role supports the business development activities of the studio and wider company with the most current and engaging content that showcases our process and work.

The Bid Coordinator is an active participant in the Business Support and Business Development Teams, contributing to a collaborative and proactive environment.

_Overseeing the submission process and managing submissions preparation across the studio, working with the Business Development Coordinator to ensure they are effectively resourced to deliver submissions

_Preparation of business development materials for clients or tendering

_Management of tender panels and subscriptions, including maintaining a current list of login details for tender portals and market data providers, and ensuring current registrations are up to date

_Monitor tender box and review notices for potential opportunities

_Prepare and edit submissions and other business development materials from start to finish. This includes reviewing and summarising the RFPs and brief requirements for the bid team, managing the timely inputs from the bid team, understanding the requirements of the client, engaging with subconsultants, coordinating the contract review process, interpreting our key messages through the language, style and presentation into the proposal.

_Participate and contribute to pursuit strategies and client engagement activities

About you

_Prior experience in producing high quality submissions

_Excellent verbal, graphic and written communication skills

_Ability to write copy, preparing initial written content as well as review of written content for bids and collateral

_Demonstrated ability to graphically communicate design ideas with a high level of expertise using a variety of digital technology

_Exceptional skills in Adobe Suite package (particularly InDesign)

_Strong word processing competency and sound ability in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

_Qualification in Graphic Design (desirable)

_Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage a multitasked workload

_Exceptional organisational and time management skills

_Ability to think creatively and critically about how to create memorable and engaging materials for our clients
