Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Partner with multiple management, development & Implementation teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant & strong experience in Big-data ecosystem including HDFS , HIVE, SPARK, PYSPARK with expertise in development, performance tuning, troubleshooting and deployment.
• Experience in Big Data, Data Analytics , ETL & various data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with commercializing Big Data applications (e.g. configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and security)
• Hands on knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Hands on knowledge in various job scheduling tools like. Autosys.
• Knowledge of various Relational (e.g. Oracle) and data stores and migration technologies across various databases.
• Ability to prioritize and manage schedules under tight, fixed deadlines.
• Ability to produce professional, technically-sound solutions
• Strong writing, communication, time-management, decision-making, and basic task organization skills
• Familiar with standard SDLC and Agile processes

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field preferred
