BIM Client Information Manager (APAC Regions)

We are looking for a BIM Client Information Manager with hands on experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM), both design and oversight. The successful candidate will be fully conversant in BIM and with the associated model deliverables at tender and construction stages.

The BIM Client Information Manager will have proven BIM knowledge and experience. They will be responsible for managing BIM related risks to project milestones and deliverables coordinating with all disciplines in a single model environment.
They should also have a good working knowledge of Mechanical, Architectural, Civil, Structural, Fire Protection & Security Systems.

Strong skills in BIM software platforms are a must. (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Navisworks etc.)

Responsibilities

The BIM Client Information Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight of all aspects of the Data Centre life cycle starting with design, construction, and maintenance of Data Centre BIM models
• Ensure Information Models meet integrity and AWS standards and are in compliance with the Exchange Information Requirements (EIR)
• Establish, agree and implement the information structure and maintenance standards for the Information Model
• Work with consultants, vendors, suppliers, construction teams to coordinate and maintain BIM models throughout the build process
• Assist Project Team Members in assembling information for project outputs
• Validate and oversee the Common Data Environment (CDE) for the BIM Teams
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of Basis of Design (BOD) models and BOD Documentation.
• Assure delivery of information exchanges
• Develop and track asset information within the models
• Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations
• Work as part of an internal Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (CSAMEP) design team
• Review consultant BIM documentation, BIM files, coordinate output formats, and validate data quality, collect design documents and files for projects.
• Be positive, self-motivated and always offer creative, out of the box solutions

• 5 years BIM/CAD experience in Design/Construction
• Experience using BIM to design and coordinate large projects
• Working knowledge of building engineering and construction technology
• Experience of building engineering from conceptual design through construction documentation
• Good understanding of building systems and their configuration within data centres

• Experience in the establishment and management of BIM models including orientation, geo-positioning, coordination and the set up of review models.
• The exporting of embedded data and schedules from BIM models to spreadsheets

• Excellent organization skills in archival & maintenance operations of project documents
• Organized and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Be a motivated, highly dependable & team player individual
• Possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail,
• Good understanding of quality standards and national standards

• Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling
• 8+ years\' strong Revit/CAD experience in the area of building engineering
• 4+ years\' experience on mission critical projects
• Experience of BIM deliverables and standards for Data Centres or other large facilities (Hospitals, Fabrication Plants, ect)
• Understanding LEAN Engineering
