Job Description
BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating BIM technology and processes for construction and design projects. He/She ensures the accuracy and consistency of the project models and their data.
He/She will oversee the model creation, development and integration throughout the project life-cycle.
Job Scope
Implementing BIM technology strategies and plans for specific projects Monitoring the use of BIM tools and software by the project team Providing technical support and training to the project team on BIM software and tools Developing and maintaining project BIM models and associated data Ensuring that the project BIM model adheres to all internal and external BIM standards and project requirements Coordinating the integration of BIM technology with other building technologies such as project management and scheduling software Conducting regular quality control checks of the BIM model and its data Collaborating with project teams to troubleshoot and resolve BIM-related issues Documenting, tracking, and communicating BIM issues, changes, and updates Monitor the project's BIM workflow and make suggestions for improvement. Assist in coordination meetings * Produce, organize and manage BIM templates and project specific content
