With JTC going full-steam into the implementation of integrated digital delivery initiatives, We are seeking for a dynamic individual to join us as an engineer for several large-scale industrial projects. You will be responsible in creating BIM models, shop drawings and M&E standard library. You will collaborate/co-ordinate with other disciplines to develop the design, perform BIM work tasks, review and resolve clashes. You will prepare and submit the drawings in BIM format in compliance to significant codes and standards so as to obtain the necessary clearances and approvals.
In addition, you will act as a client representative design engineer for the development of building and infrastructure projects, formulating the project briefs for consultant tender, producing M&E conceptual designs, managing the consultants and reviewing their design drawings, technical calculations and specification, in the interest of the clients, from design until the project completion.
Job Requirements
Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Possesses significant BIM modelling / BIM MEP coordination certifications. At least 8 years of significant design practice, with at least 5 years in BIM Modelling. Familiar with code requirements and BIM submission standards. Proficient in the use of BIM software i.e. REVIT, with Navisworks practice an added advantage. Communicates well, able to work independently as well as in a team to deliver projects in a timely manner.
