Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Implement BIM Strategy:

Create and implement the overall BIM strategy and standards for the organization and specific projects.

Manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs):

Oversee the development and maintenance of BEPs to define BIM processes, roles, and deliverables.

Software and Data Management:

Manage and maintain BIM software, data, and the Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure information exchange is efficient and secure.

Model Coordination and Compliance:

Coordinate the creation of digital models, review them for accuracy, and ensure they meet technical, regulatory, and project requirements.

Team Leadership & Training:

Lead and mentor BIM teams, provide training and support to project staff, and promote a culture of digital collaboration.

Stakeholder Communication:

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, using BIM as a central platform.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor BIM deliverables, ensure adherence to standards, and identify opportunities to improve BIM workflows.

Technology Research:

Stay updated on the latest BIM software and technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools to enhance productivity.

Essential Skills

Strategic Thinking:

The ability to develop and implement a long-term BIM strategy for the organization.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong knowledge of BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and data management.

Communication and Leadership:

Excellent communication skills to lead teams, interact with stakeholders, and present complex information.

Problem-Solving:

The capacity to identify and resolve issues within BIM processes and project workflows. *

Project Management:

Experience managing the BIM project lifecycle from inception to completion.
