JOB DESCRIPTION
Drafting:
Create precise civil and structural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software. Interpret and implement design concepts provided by engineers or architects into detailed and accurate drawings.Design Coordination:
Coordinate with civil and structural engineers to ensure that drafting designs align with project specifications and requirements. Review design documents to identify potential conflicts or issues and propose solutionsDocument Management:
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all drawings, revisions, and related project files. Ensure that all drawings comply with company standards and industry regulationsQuality Control:
Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Address feedback and revisions promptly to meet project deadlines.Communication:
Collaborate with project teams, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to address design-related queries and provide clarifications. Participate in design review meetings and contribute insights to improve the overall design process.REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field Familiar with 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) Knowledge of Bentley, Fuzor, Synchro, Navisworks is advantageous * Understanding of civil and structural engineering principles and construction methods.
