Job Description

1. Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

(1) Oversee and manage the design and construction of power station boiler engineering projects;


(2) Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner;


(3) Manage a team of boiler engineers, ensuring that project milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets;


(4) Coordinate with engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution;


(5) Review and analyze the design effectiveness and structural reliability of major projects;


(6) Approve cost reports, equipment records, engineering reports, and project construction schedules;


(7) Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are strictly observed.;


(8) Prepare budgets and schedules, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently;


(9) Monitor work progress and ensure a project is on track and within budget;


(10) Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns, and brief boiler engineers on new worksites and projects, ensuring they are well-informed;


(11) Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, and Maintain accurate records of project documentation and progress;


(12) Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth;


(13) Work closely with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

2. Requirements :

(1) Must possess min 5 years of power station boiler&pipeline construction experience;


(2) Good education with Bachelor degree or above;


(3) Familiar with power market and related regulations in Singapore;


(4) Be able to work under pressure and agree work overtime;


(5) BiLinguage is preferred


(6) Strong presentation skills, written and oral and strong communication skills;


(7) Good time management and planning skills;


(8) Self-motivated, ability to work independently.
