Position Summary

The Macallan Boutique at Raffles Hotel requires an experienced luxury Boutique Manager who is focused, passionate and driven to provide impeccable customer service. This individual will be experienced in inspiring and motivating a strong team to deliver a best in class luxury retail experience for our guests from around the world.



  • Inspires the boutique team to ensure that customers of The Macallan Boutique receive best in class customer service in all areas of their luxury shopping by adapting good practices from luxury brands to The Macallan @ Raffles boutique.
  • Ensures The Macallan @ Raffles boutique is presented as a luxury retail environment in line with the brand strategy.
  • Ensures the boutique team retains up-to-date product knowledge with regards to storytelling, whisky knowledge, serving ritual and product information.
  • Ensures the boutique team are fully aware of all bespoke product offerings across the brand range.
  • Professionally upsell, where appropriate, by engaging the customer in a diplomatic and welcoming manner.
  • Identifies, develops and enrols the relevant training plans for the boutique team to elevate customer service at the boutique, e.g. selling ceremony, luxury mindset, luxury storytelling.
  • Accountable for the boutique sales planning and achievement plan.
  • Recruits new prospect clients, ensures accurate data capture using the CRM system (Hubspot) and maintains client database to optimise client loyalty (lifetime value).
  • Be a visible leader in The Macallan Boutique team that leads by example and inspires world class delivery in line with our guideline of service, procedures and policies.



Skills and Experience
  • Highly experienced in luxury retail merchandising and sales process.
  • Outstanding customer service knowledge and delivery
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Strong commercial sales skills in a luxury retail environment with the appropriate use of sales tools / techniques and promotions to drive excellent results
  • Strong eye for detail with best practice knowledge of stock control and retail sales management (retail KPIs, conversion rate)
  • Strong numerical and literacy skills
  • Precision and accuracy when handling customer details and transactions
  • Inspiring leadership skills with high level of confidence and maturity
  • Strong and effective people manager
  • Friendly and approachable to all customers and colleagues alike
  • Quality driven with high standards of customer service and attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to task and work activity
  • Takes exemplary pride in their appearance as an ambassador for The Macallan
