Manage the Customer Centre (CC) to ensure smooth operation in compliance with banking procedures, guidelines and regulations.
Attend to customer enquiries and make operational decisions within guidelines.
Guide the Customer Service Officers on policies and procedures.
Check and authorize / approve financial transactions processed by the Customer Service Officer
Ensure AML procedures are observed in compliance with MAS requirements for all transactions.
Assume the role of a Vault Teller in charge of the overall cash in the Centre when performing as the duty officer.
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the premises.
Perform relief duties as and when required at other CCs.
Requirements:
Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Management or relevant discipline.
At least 3 years in managing a branch or assisting the branch manager in similar capacity.
Has supervisory experience, able to interact well with the staff, and good interpersonal and communication skills.
Independent, decisive and critical skills are essential for this position.
