Job Summary:



The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the branch to achieve financial and strategic objectives. This includes driving revenue growth, enhancing operational efficiency, delivering excellent client experiences, expanding the affluent customer base, and developing a team of capable financial advisors. The Branch Manager will play a critical role in executing the bank's strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance, governance, and operational excellence.





Key Responsibilities:



Grow the branch's income and operating profit (OP) by meeting revenue targets across products and services. Identify and implement opportunities to deepen customer relationships and cross-sell banking solutions. Monitor and analyze financial reports to optimize performance and take corrective actions where necessary. Lead initiatives to reduce the Cost-to-Income Ratio (CIR) by enhancing staff productivity, optimizing workflows, and ensuring cost control. Implement best practices to streamline branch operations without compromising service quality. Support and implement bank-wide strategic initiatives and campaigns at the branch level. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align branch performance with overall business goals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly. Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain affluent clients. Promote wealth management products and services to increase wealth penetration among target customers. Leverage CRM tools and customer insights to deliver tailored financial solutions. Champion a culture of customer-centricity to deliver superior service and engagement. Ensure prompt resolution of client issues and complaints to foster loyalty and satisfaction. Enhance branch environment and digital tools to provide a seamless client journey. Recruit, coach, and develop Relationship Managers and Personal Bankers to become trusted financial advisors. Conduct regular training on financial planning, product knowledge, and consultative selling. Lead performance management and succession planning within the branch team. Ensure the day-to-day operations of the branch are efficient, compliant, and well-controlled. Manage branch audits, operational risk incidents, and ensure KYC/AML compliance.

Job Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Professional banking or wealth management certifications are advantageous. 6-10 years of experience in banking, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role. Proven track record in sales management, team leadership, and customer relationship management. Experience in wealth management and dealing with affluent clients is a strong advantage. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills. Analytical and strategic thinking with a strong financial acumen. Knowledge of banking products (loans, deposits, investments, insurance). * Familiarity with compliance, operational risk, and regulatory requirements.
