Key Resp We are hiring Brand Consultants' TEAM LEADER to represent our esteemed client in Travel Retail, for a global company in Wine and Spirits at Changi Airport Duty Free stores. Key Responsibilities Lead the team of Brand Consultants (BCs) at your assigned terminal, mentoring newcomers and other staff to better sell the client's Brands Be a good role model, ensuring team members are punctual and performing up to the Brand's standard each day Achieve sales targets by proactively promoting the Brand to passengers, link-selling and cross-selling to increase basket size Monitor target-achievement and summarise sales-tracking for the BCs Take ownership of the store, ensuring each BC on duty is accountable for the brand's counter quality requirements Be responsible for executing and maintaining all brand merchandising standards Maintain healthy stock levels by communicating promptly with store managers to order stocks Be an ambassador for the Brand, offering 'best-in-class' service to our customers Connect and build long-term relationships with clients. Actively use and coach newcomers on the Brand's service and sales method ('Conviviality Selling Steps') Impart sales tactics and product knowledge to newcomers, following up on product knowledge every 3 months Work with store managers and other store staff as a team Be responsible for daily, monthly and seasonal tracking of total performance within assigned store Monitor competitors' activities and retail performance, keep up with the latest trends of individual business categories (e.g., whiskies, cognac, vodka) Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Company Requirements Willing to work retail shifts on weekends and public holidays Diploma in Retail Management or related discipline At least 3 years of successful travel retail or retail supervisory experience Comfortable with using computer technology such as Microsoft Office and POS systems, etc Strong leadership skills and willingness to be a team player Passionate, creative and bold with a proactive attitude Positive mindset and pleasant disposition, ability to think on your feet and problem-solve efficiently Enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment Excellent selling and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate well in at least 2 languages. Well-organized and committed to accuracy of details at all levels
