We're launching an exciting new

whiskey-focused bar

, and we're looking for a passionate and engaging

Brand Ambassador

to help bring our vision to life. This role combines front-of-house hospitality with deep product knowledge and a flair for storytelling. You'll be the in-house whiskey expert, curating guest experiences, hosting tastings, and helping shape the bar's identity as a go-to destination for whiskey lovers.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the face of whiskey culture in the venue--greeting guests, recommending pours, and guiding them through whiskey flights and pairings. Host regular whiskey tastings, education sessions, and masterclasses for guests and staff. Curate and update the whiskey menu in collaboration with the bar manager, including rare bottles, limited editions, and cocktail recommendations. Train bar staff on whiskey categories, service etiquette, storytelling, and upselling techniques. Build and maintain relationships with whiskey brands, distributors, and local reps for collaborations, events, and promotional partnerships. Lead brand activations, whiskey nights, guest bartender events, and other themed experiences. Maintain strong product knowledge across Scotch, Bourbon, Irish, Japanese, and world whiskies. Actively engage with guests and the community to build loyalty and brand presence--both offline and via social media (if applicable). Stay updated on trends in whiskey, mixology, and spirits to keep the bar's offerings fresh and relevant.

Requirements:

2-5 years' experience in bartending, hospitality, or brand ambassadorship, with a strong background in whiskey or spirits. Deep passion and knowledge of whiskey--heritage, styles, tasting profiles, and culture. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident hosting and educating in both one-on-one and group settings. Excellent customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to work nights, weekends, and during key promotional events. Comfortable with a dynamic, start-up-style environment in a new venue.

Preferred Qualifications:

WSET Level 2 (Spirits), Certified Whiskey Ambassador, or similar qualifications. Experience working with premium or craft spirit brands. Social media presence or comfort in representing the brand online (optional but valuable). Network within the local spirits, bar, or F&B community. Chinese speaking enviroment
