Job Description

The Chinese Media Group is seeking a highly motivated Strategist/Lead Strategist to join its Branded Projects team. The Branded Projects department is responsible in driving integrated and digital content solutions for brands and partners on Lianhe Zaobao and zaobao.sg.

• Ideate and design content solutions including but not limited to short videos, live streams, podcasts, series and festive specials on owned media;
• Manage end-to-end projects by coordinating between internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to clients, marketing and sales, writers, designers, video editors;
• Work closely with various stakeholders to develop monetisation opportunities;
• Maintain publication titles\xe2\x80\x99 brand integrity by gatekeeping monetised projects;
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders;
• Publish and distribute branded content onto digital and social media platforms;
• Basic monitoring, generation and analysis of campaign reports; and
• Copy-writing and translation of English and Chinese content.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder; candidates with at least 5 years of related working experience in media, public relations, communications or advertising may be considered for the lead role;
• Digitally savvy with good working knowledge of digital technologies (including social media) and ability to handle content management systems;
• Able to keep abreast of changes in content trends, technologies, social media landscape and consumer behaviours;
• Good at problem-solving with strong analytical skills;
• Able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and produce quality work in a fast-paced environment;
• Able to work independently and as a team with various stakeholders;
• Proficient in English and Chinese as this is for a Chinese publication; proficiency in dialect/s would be advantageous; and
• Flexibility to work on weekends, has good news sense, and basic knowledge of Google Analytics would be advantageous.
